World Listening Day 2018 - "Future Listening"

radio aporee participates in the 9th World Listening Day.

This year's theme is FUTURE LISTENING created by Filipino sound artist Teresa Barrozo. The theme calls for reimagining a personal and universal future through listening. Participants are encouraged to examine their hopes, dreams, ambitions and fears for the future and reflect on the question, What does your future sound like? (a real challenge for field recordings, btw...)

You are invited to participate, please send your audio field recording to radio aporee, and help creating a soundmap of the World Listening Day 2018 - Listening to the Ground, on July 18, 2018:

you can upload to the radio aporee ::: maps (please tag your recording with WLD 2018 or similar) or directly to the WLD2018 project map on radio aporee (open for upload on July 18)
please read the instructions on how to upload to the soundmap as well as the content guideline. Please send only field recordings, no music, compositions etc.!

All recordings will be made available on the dedicated project page, additionally, new contributions will be played on the web radio on aporee as they arrive, along with compilations from previos WLDs.
